New for 2022 - 2023, Head's Popular Tour Series comes with Graphite (GR paddles) or Composite (CO paddles) hitting surfaces. The Graphite version weighs 7.9 ounces, while the Composite version weighs 8.1 ounces. It is generally said that a heavier paddle with a composite face is better for power (Force = Mass * acceleration) and that, for control, a lighter paddle with a graphite surface is ideal.

Head added their new SpinOn technology to the Tour paddles in 2022 to help increase the spin. The Radical Tour GR is made for the powerful player who needs stability. HEAD's Graphite Hitting Surface (GHS) combines a crisp feel and more control for an added touch, while the Comfort Grip System ensures a tremendous feeling and enhanced vibration dampening.
